DESCRIPTION
This webinar is a foundational educational experience for Allied Health Professionals acting as coaches and mentors in clinical practice. This webinar is based on current best evidence coaching, mentoring and use of the Master Adaptive Learning (MAL) framework. This webinar will equip allied health clinicians with the tools necessary for advanced mentoring skills through a focus on critical thinking, feedback discussions and challenging mentoring scenarios.
LEARNER OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Identify the four phases of the comprehensive mentoring process
- Describe three mentoring strategies to build a successful mentoring relationship
- Define three key principles of Master Adaptive Learning (MAL) framework for use in mentoring relationships
- Identify specific behaviors that foster master adaptive learning in a successful mentor-mentee relationship
SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION
Participants will be present during the live webinar in its entirety and complete an attendance verification and feedback survey in the Academy Learning Portal within one month of the live air date.
