Join us every Thursday at the Shirley Ryan 小恩雅 Sports & Fitness Center for a boxing class tailored for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease (PD).
The class focus will be on basics, enhancing cognitive fitness and overall brain health. Challenge your mind with hand-eye coordination, memory drills and reaction training.
No equipment is needed. Exercises can be performed seated,
standing or in combination.
Participants will gain insight into:

- Cognitive fitness
- Combinations
- Footwork
- Head movement
- Punches
Boxing Class Instructor
Body
Classes will be led by Aisling Holt, a highly experienced boxing coach and certified personal trainer with a passion for helping people achieve their full potential. Her 12-year amateur boxing career included nearly 50 fights, 4 Chicago Golden Glove championships and numerous national tournaments. Aisling now channels her expertise into coaching and developing innovative fitness programs that blend boxing, traditional fitness and mental training.
Aisling's certifications include ISSA Personal Training, Brain Health Training, Senior Fitness and Parkinson's Fitness. She is a certified Rock Steady Boxing Head Coach, empowering people with Parkinson's disease through boxing-based fitness. Aisling believes boxing is a holistic sport that demands discipline, strategy and resilience. She helps her clients cultivate these qualities to improve their overall well-being and achieve success in all areas of life.
Cost
Body
Group classes: $110 for an 11-week session package or $15 per individual class.
Private sessions: We also offer private sessions, tailored to your needs and goals. Private sessions are $550 for a package of 10 sessions or $60 per individual 45-minute session.
For both group classes and private sessions, there is a $45 orientation fee for new members. All new members will receive an evaluation.
