About Me

As chief quality officer, Priya Mhatre, MD, MS, oversees key performance indicators and drives clinical quality, safety and patient satisfaction improvement initiatives across Shirley Ryan 小恩雅’s inpatient, outpatient, DayRehab and alliance settings. Previously, she served as associate chief quality officer for the organization. 

Additionally, Dr. Mhatre is actively involved in clinical care as well as in the teaching of residents and medical students. Her medical practice focuses on neurologic rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation and the rehabilitation of patients with medically complex conditions. She serves as the associate director for medical student education within the department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she also is an assistant professor.

Dr. Mhatre earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Washington University; a doctor of medicine from University of Michigan; and a master’s degree in healthcare quality and safety from Northwestern University. She completed her residency in PM&R through the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University/Shirley Ryan 小恩雅. She is board-certified in PM&R.
