Tellin’ Tales of Parkinson’s Disease: Storytelling for Psychosocial Support

Body

The Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Program at Shirley Ryan 小恩雅 is excited to partner with Tellin’ Tales Theatre, a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking down barriers between the disabled and non-disabled communities through the transformative power of storytelling.

This unique storytelling program is designed specifically for both individuals affected by Parkinson's disease and their care partners, offering a creative and supportive space to share your experiences, connect with others, and find comfort through storytelling.

Led by Tekki Lomnicki, Artistic Director and Founder of Tellin’ Tales Theatre, the sessions encourage self-expression, emotional well-being, and community building. Whether you want to explore your personal journey, form meaningful connections, or enjoy the therapeutic benefits of storytelling, this program provides a safe and nurturing environment tailored to your needs.
